ABSTRACT
A theoretical and experimental basis for developing oscillating soil loosening tools is prepared. Their motion equation is solved on the basis of experimental investigations of tools excited to active oscillation by a crank drive. This method is applied to assess the suitability of oscillating tools affected, e.g., by side tools. The investigations show that the soil interacting with the tool may have an attenuation equalizing effect.
